Christopher Costin starts a small window cleaning round in the seaside town of Helensburgh. The sole trader business, then called Squeegee Window Cleaning Services, is born.
Brother Craig and father Mark Costin join the business and a limited company, Squeegee Cleaning Solutions, is formed.
Growth is exponential as the buy over of two companies occurs, one of which is EC Cleaning, whom at the time were one of the largest cleaning companies in Argyll and Bute. The second, Pristine Window Cleaning, pushed expansion across the west of Scotland.
Brothers Christopher and Craig form VentPro Limited on the back of a demand from existing clients for specialist ventilation cleaning. Industry expert Gavin Clelland is brought in to manage this company.
Growth continues for both companies as they move into new offices in Dumbarton. Scott Curran joins as Sales Manager and VentPro becomes one of the largest specialist ventilation cleaning companies in Scotland.
The Costin Group Limited is formed following the purchase of RCS Enviro Limited, a company that holds a Royal Warrant.
